The location is somewhat away from the town center, nestled in a light industrial area, which might not appeal to those looking for a vibrant atmosphere. Checkout is earlier than usual for Germany at 11 AM, and they refused to accommodate a later checkout. While there's free parking available, some rooms face a courtyard with early-morning noise from local businesses, potentially disrupting sleep. The breakfast options feel limited for the price, falling short of expectations. You might find the atmosphere lacks charm since it resembles more of an office space than a hotel vibe.

Bright, bright, bright

I enjoyed the perfect cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The automated check-in process was easy and allowed me to settle in without any delays. Plus, the free coffee and snacks upon check-in created a warm and cute atmosphere right from the start.

SmartHotel was excellent for me. It is a motel with few services. Good breakfast and the staff were excellent, just few of them. Good restaurant across the street. Town of Kempten is a few miles away. Lovely town. I had a car.

The breakfast was very good and the room was spotless and staff very helpful.

The booking system was missleading by the omission of the term and conditions, i.e we arrived 30 minutes later than the specified check-in time and charged an extra 10 euros. We had been driving since 06:00 and had been delayed, so we spent 45 minutes at a local McDonalds.

The room was spacious and clean, equipped with cheerful colors and fine wooden furnishings. The unusual delight of tea and coffee-making facilities. Free parking was a definite bonus.

Conveniently located, efficient late night check-in, clean and comfortable, very good breakfast buffet, served the purpose perfectly of a one-night stay on the way from Denmark to Italy, good value for money

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet of fresh baked bread, cold cuts,various cheeses,fruit and coffee. The dining room was sunny and bright and very clean.Our sleeping room was clean and modern. We had everything we needed at a good price.

I stayed here recently and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious, well-furnished room, though the morning loading noise from nearby businesses was a bit disruptive. Free tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch! I would definitely return for a short trip again!

The hotel was easy to find and access, from the autobahn. The room was extremely clean and everything worked well. There was a very good, reasonably priced restaurant next door (part of the hotel). All excellent value for money.

Close to motorway, easy parking, good food nearby. Very clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Mainly businessmen using hotel during our stay and families on cycling tour. Can check in when unattended by using card reader.
